Mother said: I hope we will be well in this life and stay together for the rest of our lives. For this reason, I swear to protect you for the rest of my life.
When the only love I firmly believe in becomes the enemy of my vow one day, my world collapses in an instant. I think of my mother's words that year: Love must be experienced with your heart. It took me a lifetime, though.
