"My name is Wuxiang, and I want to rent a house."
I will always remember that summer afternoon, my first tenant Wu Xiang knocked on the door of my house and politely made a request. The old-fashioned house located on the outskirts of the city was the only property left to me by my deceased grandfather, and it was also my source of livelihood when I was young. Holding a shovel in my left hand and a pot in my right hand, I was struggling for lunch when I saw someone coming. I remembered the house rental advertisement posted a few days ago and said with a smile: "Come in quickly."
I don't have many requirements for my tenants, as long as they are pleasing to the eye and can pay rent on time. I never ask for the tenant's name, occupation, origin, etc. I'm happy if you come, and I'm happy if you don't come.
Wuxiang became one of my tenants. Later, as we stayed longer, I also learned some of his past events.
Note: Due to my recent difficulty in accessing the Internet, the updates of my serialized articles will be very slow.
I strive to have one chapter and one story for this article
