I like SD, from the first time I watched the 101 episodes of the cartoon, to reading the full version of the comic later; I like Rukawa, at the same time that I fell in love with SD. However, this is my first time writing a fanfic. This story… About dreams, about love, about youth, about growth... Or it's a bit long, because I have completely integrated the identity of the protagonist into that world, from the age of 7 to 27, from my imagination before the comic, through the novel story of the entire comic, to my imagination again after the comic was completed... Or I'm talking a little bit to myself, because, I admit, I integrated my emotional experience, views and understanding of life, ideals and hopes for dreams into this story, into the character of "me"... Or maybe it's not perfect enough, because there are a thousand Hamlets in the eyes of a thousand people, and everyone has their own definition of Maple in their hearts. Although the Maple in my heart is close to perfection, it is not perfect. I hope that he will be real... Or, just like its name, this story is a kind of companionship. I am grateful that SD and Rukawa accompanied me through the years of youth and frivolity in the real world.
