During the reign of Renzong in the Northern Song Dynasty, Yu Shu, a daughter of a concubine from the magistrate of Yazhou, was beautiful and charming, but smart and tenacious. By chance, I met a young master. The young master turned out to be Su Shi, the second son of the wealthy Su family, whose courtesy name was Zifeng. Su Shi fell in love with Yu Shu at first sight.
