A/N: I did something I've never tried before: write a fic, just because no one has done it before (or there are almost no P/H pairings). I'm well aware that my writing style is very different from Ms. Christie's (I read all the books in Finnish translations*), so I hope you won't mind this attempt at modernization, although I tried hard not to deviate too much from the original characters. I hope you enjoyed this article, and of course the bad-tempered Poirot, who is rare among P/H fics. Out of love for these two, happy reading : D
A/N2: "My" Poirot was exactly as he was portrayed in the book: green eyes, not bald, but on the other hand more like the version of our beloved David Suchet.
