It was probably just a vague text in a book.
The endless war, the crazy Muggles, the ever-growing hatred; the pain of escape, the spreading plague, and the ineradicable despair.
There are not many safe places, few trustworthy people, no edible food, no clean water...
Those who have not experienced it will never understand.
When everything they own is lost in the torrent of history, their warm or sad memories become the distant past in the mouths of others, leaving only the distorted history written in books to cover up the truth.
In a strange era that does not belong to them, apart from Hogwarts, they only have themselves and each other.
