On the day when Gu Bei was "taken down the mountain", the wind was warm and the sun was shining brightly on the top of the mountain, and the birds were chirping and the flowers were fragrant. Master recited a poem very gracefully to express his farewell: We will be at the top of the mountain, with a panoramic view of all the small mountains...
Gu Bei said sarcastically: "You're not talking about the top of the mountain, so why do you have to ask me to come down? There are so many people on Langdang Mountain, and there's nothing interesting hidden in the temple. You're going to coax me down the mountain, don't you feel lonely?"
The master's demeanor was elegant, his clothes were fluttering, and his kind-hearted eyes called out the Buddha's name: "O Amitabha Buddha, go out of the mountain as soon as you can, disciple, and feel at ease." Then he threw a shriveled baggage to Gu Bei and ran a few steps to close the temple door.
So, Gu Bei came out of the mountain.
