After reading Humanities Reconstruction for several days, I suddenly wanted to write a novel, taking apart the integrated structure in the textbook. This is an idea I've been building recently while reading all kinds of boring textbooks. Gradually, a vivid story of old Shanghai reappeared in my mind;
But I didn't want to state it so straightforwardly, so I made this story seem untrue;
Many of the terms used in the story are well documented, but most of them were made up by me.
