Huo Qubing (140 BC - 117 BC), Han nationality, was a native of Pingyang County, Hedong County (now southwest of Linfen, Shanxi Province). An outstanding military strategist during the period of Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty in China, he was the nephew of the famous general Wei Qing and served as the Grand Sima Hussar General. He is good at riding and shooting, and is good at running long distances. Huo Qubing led his army to fight against the Xiongnu many times. Under his leadership, the Xiongnu were killed by the Han army and retreated steadily. Huo Qubing also left a good story of "sealing the wolf to live in Xu".
