This play uses Jiang's exploration of the right way to be a human being as a clue, and collects what Jiang saw, heard and felt when he was a grocery store owner in the urban-rural fringe area. The stories, large and small, whether humorous or heavy, all reveal the integrity, honesty, optimistic attitude towards life and humble and eager learning attitude of Crucian Carp, an ordinary businessman, who is happy in the world.
