Over the years, I have lived a happy life, all of which stemmed from one decision. To this day, I am still not sure why I made that decision in the first place. Maybe it was an impulse or an obsession. But I firmly believe that decisions must be made for a reason.

In 1980, New China's scientific expedition activities on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau kicked off. I was fortunate to serve as a scientific expedition team member and rushed to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with my teammates to carry out major scientific expedition tasks.
