It took me nearly two years to write this goddam novel, and there was a period of time during which I was out of touch, because I am not a person who can eat and drink leisurely all day long. I had to be blown around by the monsoon winds over the years, leaving my hometown, carrying a suitcase of clothes and dreams that I remembered and forgot. Therefore, when I pick up these words in my spare time, I feel so dear and loved that I can't let go of them.
The protagonist in the novel is also my favorite character - a young man who lives hard but still has confused eyes. Ordinary characters, not your favorite fantasy cultivator, the son of prophecy, nor an urban story about an ordinary woman being attracted by a young CEO, nor martial arts, nor pornographic. The protagonists in the article are the shadows of many young people of our generation, many young men like me who have no background but only their backs, and many girls with beautiful faces. Of course there will be love - the kind of love you may not see in those vulgar domestic movies. After all, this novel is a product that many young people can recall along with their own growth and understanding. Because it exists, it is never alone.
