Unsurprisingly, as has happened in countless other stories, Erque's Ministry of Magic promulgated new marriage laws that invalidated all pure-blood marriages, and wizards or witches with less Muggle blood (i. E., Purebloods or half-bloods) could propose to unmarried wizards or witches with more Muggle blood (half-bloods or muggles). The proposed person must marry the suitor if he has no other choice within 10 days. If there is more than one suitor, the suitors fight to determine the outcome. This is how our story unfolds...
