The Buddhist scriptures say that at the end of the "bad tribulation" when the old world collapses, the "three major disasters" will occur - fire, flood, and wind disaster. When a fire breaks out, for seven days, mountains collapse and the ground splits, seas wither and rocks rot. The fire burns from the Infinite Hell to the First Jhāna Heaven of the Form Realm, and the world is reduced to ashes; when a flood occurs, underground water chakras gush out, flooding from the Infinite Hell to the Second Jhāna Heaven of the Color Realm... However, when the calamity fire has gone, the calamity water has disappeared, and when the calamity wind is approaching, no one knows that there is a calamity in nothingness, brewing silently.
