About half a year ago, a child came to me and asked me if I would publish a new book? No one has asked me in all these years if I still write books?
The answer is, I probably won't write a new book. However, eleven and a half years later, I am still being sued for the "Calabash Baby" extra. A few guys will think of it once or twice a year and come to "punish" me, haha.
As for the opportunity to write a book, after watching Super Cannon 1 and 2, I really, really liked Heiqin. I was so excited that I looked around for their fanfics, but I couldn't even find one that I liked. Coupled with some of my thoughts at the time, the idea of writing a Heiqin fanfiction came out of nowhere. Therefore, the book "Years" is written for myself from beginning to end. It is full of my emotions that are blocked in my chest but cannot be conveyed somewhere. A few songs, a pack of cigarettes, some memories, thinking and writing, no outline, no plan for the next chapter, just following the main line of the Super Cannon series. I imagined the little Heizi in the story as myself, and Mikoto as the person I liked. I imagined that the 23-year-old me could replace the 17-year-old me. I imagined that if I were a gentle, mature and reliable adult, I would not lose her in the crowd. As the story progressed, I gradually sorted out the messy emotions that had accumulated for five years. At that time, I clearly realized that time cannot be turned back. For some people, if they miss it, they have missed it, that's all. All I can do is not to disturb or give in. Now, I am 35 years old, living in one place, two kittens, three or four close friends, five or six relatives and friends. I go outing in the spring, watch the rain in the summer, climb high in the autumn, and enjoy the snow in the winter. Keep your inner peace and watch as time passes. Mountains and seas have their own return dates, and wind and rain have their own encounters. This is the story outside the book "Years".
By writing this book, I clarified that relationship. It's like climbing a mountain. Be prepared to go, persevere through difficulties, and finally reach the top successfully.
