It took two full years from the initial idea of writing a novel to the time it was put into action. Over the past two years, I kept coming up with this idea, and then kept killing it before it was fully formed. I always deny myself those ideas that I feel are childish after a while, so I never accomplish anything from the beginning to the end.
Everyone should have many past experiences. They were abandoned, burned, and left with white bones. They wanted to pick them up in the morning and evening, only to find that they were all mixed together and turned into ashes.
The construction of this story begins with the confusion about the future, the loss of not being able to grasp the present moment, the so-called blankness of childhood memories, an idea in a self-study class, and the two films of Mr. Leslie Cheung that I started to understand in April this year: "Happy Together" and "Ashes of Time".
The content of the novel has nothing to do with these two movies. I just had some ideas after watching these two movies, and then expressed them in the novel.
Use other people's stories to describe your own feelings. This is the author's right.
Use pen to construct a world, and then do whatever you want in this world, love and hate in this world. This is the author's benefit.
If you don't mind the author's naivety and don't mind understanding the thoughts of a middle school student, then please join me in retrieving the confusion that only belongs to teenagers.
