There are five realms in the world: the heaven realm where gods live; the devil realm where demons and evil spirits live; the spirit realm where spirit beasts live; the illusion realm where elves live; and the human realm where humans live.
Nangong Qiuwu's brother Nangong Xian is able to go to the spirit world because the Nangong family is a rare family of spiritualists in the human world. Since birth, he has had a different physique than ordinary people and can travel between the spiritual and human worlds.
Although he does not have the same powerful spiritual power as his brother, Nangong Qiuwu also has the qualities of a spiritualist, and our story will start with this not-so-powerful spiritualist.
