In the first year of Hengyuan Dayue, King Yi encountered an accident during his southern tour and was rescued by a woman. After getting to know each other, he found out that she was the wife of an old friend. The wife of this old friend traveled all the way to the capital just to get a letter of divorce.
This ignorant woman met many people along the way, and all of them had special skills (she thought) and were eloquent (referring to Liu Ci). Not only that, they would do anything to achieve their goals (referring to the male protagonist mainly). She was afraid and wanted to run away, but King Yi wouldn't let her go.
King Yi always felt that she was cowardly and incompetent, and she could cause any trouble even if she asked for a letter of divorce. Lu Xiu thought that he could take advantage of anyone, so she kept her innermost thoughts hidden but didn't dare to say them. She also later found out why he was so petty. It was because when he wanted a beauty, he couldn't get her, and when he wanted a kingdom, it was quite bumpy, so he always felt resentful and scolded her with a sullen face.
Some people say that there is no emotion in this world that is not riddled with holes.
On a micro level, this is the story of men's predation and women's love and hate. From a macro perspective, this is just a past episode in the history of Dai Viet. The main theme is that the country is picturesque and the wind and moon are boundless.
