"The Rose of Versailles" fan
Why do we have to say that comics are for children? Is reading comics a childish, immature act? This makes me not dress too maturely when I go shopping for comics. I choose carefully among a bunch of middle school and primary school students because of my relatively young face. Sometimes I feel that the store clerk looks at me a little strangely. However, based on the book "The Rose of Versailles" alone, with its rich historical background, long span of time, and metaphorical subtle changes in mood between gestures, can a young child understand it?
A true classic is like this. When you mention related things or objects, you can reflexively think of every relevant detail in the book, and recollect it over and over again, with a lingering fragrance in your teeth and cheeks, just like a pure vintage wine. (It would be great if Mizumon could feel like this when reading the textbook.)
Besides Oscar and Andre, my favorite is Alang, a reckless, righteous and impulsive young man. He is also an excellent man, but it is a pity that he appeared too late, and there is no longer a place for him in Oscar's heart. What will he do after the Revolution?
