I took a long drag on the cigarette, and the smoke separated the space between me and the boss: "If one day everyone told you that I betrayed you, would you believe it?"
"What do you want to imply?" The boss's expression was very strange. I didn't know whether his answer was 'yes' or 'no'.
"I was just making a random analogy," I said, "Brother Chen?"
"I choose not to believe it." The boss replied without unnecessary hesitation.
I glanced at the boss, then turned my head, and continued to smoke half of the cigarette in silence.
The boss simply closed his eyes, crossed his hands on his chest, and stopped asking me any more questions.
