During the Republican era, he lost all his memories and began wandering aimlessly among humankind.
A hundred years passed in the blink of an eye. The gods of old were gone, and he lived contentedly amid the bustle of ordinary life, alone among rooms full of yellowed old books.
One day, Feng Ling went to a school to deliver books and accidentally stumbled upon a formation concealed beneath layer upon layer of cover. There, he also encountered Group 782, a special organization trapped inside the formation.
He pretended to be an ordinary, law-abiding innocent who had been caught up in the formation by accident.
But Yan Youli saw at a glance that the secondhand bookstore owner was no ordinary person. So he took the initiative to test him, proceeding cautiously as he tried to expose his true identity.
As Feng Ling searches for his lost memories, he makes himself a piece in the game, gradually recovering his past and unraveling the supernatural conspiracy shrouded in the city’s fog.
