The dead build memories of their own, drowning in beautiful dreams and refusing to be reincarnated.
The two wandering souls, Lu Xiyi and Chen Sangmo, go from bitter enemies to inseparable lovers as they brave fifteen layers of obsession-filled illusions, using brutal methods to guide the dead onward.
Their love has no cracks; the angst comes from the ensemble cast and the fates of all living beings.
