At first, I used this heaven-defying ability to escape mediocrity and make a fortune at lightning speed. But little by little, the darkness hidden in the world began to open up before me.
Countless truths concealed by language barriers, evidence of crimes sealed away in writing, serial cases disguised with secret tongues, and eventually, my ability even crossed the boundaries between species and between life and death…
The world hears all things. I hear all things weep. Where can someone who understands a hundred languages ever find a home?
