Yan Che falls in love at first sight with a man he’s never met. The man clings to him, comforts him, and gazes at him with a tenderness that makes it seem as though he’s looked at him a million times before. But the name he calls him is someone else’s. He says his name is Qi You, the same name as the founding emperor, Emperor Taizu. Yan Che thinks that perhaps they loved each other in a previous life. Otherwise, why would he be so hopelessly in love? Qi You hasn’t told him: after six lifetimes of reincarnation, this is their last chance. In this life, he wants Yan Che to love him, and he wants him to stay alive. Yan Che x Qi You Theme: What seems like salvation turns out to be the one being saved; what seems fated is actually defying fate and changing their destiny.
