Su Yun Zhao spent his whole life thinking about one question. If he were a cat, and the first mother cat who gave birth to him tried to bite him to death, only for a second cat to stop her, then which one had truly given him life: the first mother cat or the second? If the second cat killed the first, should he avenge his mother? Which mother would that be? Which vengeance? Whom was he alive for? And whom should this sword point toward?
Su Yun Zhao instinctively wanted to ask his best friend, Lu Shining, for the answers. But then he realized Lu Shining had even more questions than he did. Lu Shining was busy wondering whether killing his father was right or wrong. Which father did that mean? What did it mean to kill him?
How could killing one’s father be righteous in one case and wrong in another?
(Ensemble cast, cultivation, angst, with lots of friendship and family bonds)
