Sweet-faced, sharp-tongued dessert queen x gloomy, clingy weapon secretary x naturally strong, easily tearful regent
In public, Lu Yao is the all-powerful regent of Zhou, blessed with superhuman strength. Inside, she is sensitive and soft-hearted, and tears come easily. Yun Yun, a thoroughly wicked woman who has done countless evil deeds, built the Xinghai Dessert Empire single-handedly. After the labor union brought it down, she fell into another world. She looks sweet, but is domineering, ruthless, and ambitious by nature, and she will never reform her ways.
She carries a magical far-seeing mirror that’s always dozing off, and excels at making desserts that bewitch the heart. Shen Hui, the human-shaped weapon at her side, was beaten into submission by her own hand and forced into a contract. He can transform into all kinds of weapons and is plagued by multiple kinds of bad luck. Anyone who gets close to him suffers misfortune, but he is utterly clingy and insanely jealous when it comes to Yun Yun.
Clues left behind by a monster mentor reveal that Lu Yao carries the bloodline of an Earth Guardian. Yun Yun disguises herself as a spy in the prince’s manor, planning to slowly tame him with bewitching desserts, seize the divine weapon, win over the Guardian, unite Zhou, and return to Xinghai for revenge. Seven little spirits watch the drama unfold, with one hilarious mishap after another. No rivalry between women, and every pairing is devoted to only one partner.
Core theme: Even after falling into the abyss, never abandon your ambition. Make your own plans, seize power, take revenge, and carve out your own path to the throne.
