Synopsis
The Primordial Year The world was once a barren, boundless expanse. In the endless chaos, countless faint specks of light drifted, and everything proceeded in an orderly fashion. Over the long passage of time, countless points of light gathered to form a colossal dragon. It opened its enormous jaws and breathed blazing fire, illuminating the surrounding void. The sky and earth were born in the dragonflame, and the structure of the world was gradually forged. The most primitive titans emerged through the evolution of all things. Then, the heavens suddenly split open with a massive rift, and twelve women of different appearances and splendid attire arrived in this brand-new world. The world's ruler was bewildered. It spread its wings slightly and unleashed its imposing aura toward the heavens, testing them. But the intruders offered no explanation. They simply flew in different directions, each toward a separate region of the world, strange runes flickering across their bodies. At that moment, under their influence, vegetation, living creatures, and oceans gradually appeared in the new world, while order began to flow through every corner. The titans on the ground cheered. Some frolicked with the newborn creatures, while others admired the lush vegetation, marveling at the wonders of the world. Seeing that they meant no harm, the world's ruler did not stop them. Instead, with the intruders' help, it further refined the world's laws. When the final stroke of the world's laws fell into place, the twelve intruders gradually transformed into the things of the world. Some merged with the sea, turning its waters from pure white to deep blue. One became a radiant sun that illuminated all things. Others became massive volcanoes or towering mountain ranges... The seven youngest intruders who remained chose to give everything they had to the world's ruler. Their bodies turned into pure energy and nourished the newborn world. The ruler of the heavens honored their sacrifice by placing their power and authority in seven vital locations throughout the world. Once their remaining strength had fully merged with the world, the ground began to tremble and the seas churned with towering waves. Even the world's ruler felt the violent changes. New forms of life were being born, shaped in the image of the ruler of the heavens and nurtured by the laws of nature. Dragons emerged throughout the world, each born from one of the seven different powers. Like newborn children, they all flew toward the world's ruler, each carrying the power and authority of one of the seven intruders. The ruler of the heavens crowned them kings, making them Dragon Kings, the foremost pillars of the world. After receiving their crowns and thrones, the dragons radiated light in a multitude of colors, illuminating the land. Bathed in this light, the first titans gained extraordinary abilities and intelligence beyond comprehension. They spent ages traveling across the mountains, rivers, and continents, using their powers to create an entirely new generation of life. The ruler of the heavens and the Dragon Kings nurtured all kinds of descendants throughout the world, strengthening its original will and laws. In those days, the dragons' descendants and the titans' creations supported one another. As time passed, they gradually ushered in an age belonging to all living beings and dragonkind. One day, the once-blue heavens were torn open again, this time by a wound more terrifying than ever. Two visitors descended, one dressed in pure black, the other in spotless white. With wings on their backs and crowns upon their heads, they surveyed the entire world. The world shook under the immense impact. Mountains collapsed and continents split apart. Most of the living beings and dragonkind who walked the land perished at the hands of the two visitors from the heavens. The world's ruler flew into a rage upon learning what had happened. It led the Dragon Kings into a world-shattering battle against the two visitors, but was ultimately defeated. The world, already on the verge of collapse, broke apart in the dreadful battle, becoming countless fragments and ruins. The two victorious supreme beings used their boundless power, along with the power and authority of the original twelve intruders and the bodies of the dragons, to gather vast swaths of the wreckage. Some of the fragments were mixed with special energies, forming a new and much larger world. The titans who survived the creation war divided into two groups in the new world. One group used its immense power to rule the world's laws and follow in the footsteps of the twelve intruders. They eventually became the twelve Titans who stood at the pinnacle of the new world's laws, creating various Divine Paths for the world. The other group devoted its strength to this realm and eventually became the first immortals. Far above, at the summit of the new world, the two supreme beings' bodies, damaged in their battle against the dragons, gradually faded into the world, forming the first Chaos. Under the new laws, the world split off a Dark Realm, an exact reflection of itself. The Age of Worldmaking Chaos gradually divided into yin and yang, and one after another, fierce and powerful ancient beasts emerged as it split apart. At the same time, the bones of the dragons that had once ruled the world gradually nurtured seven new Dragon Kings. The new Dragon Kings drew all their power and authority from the dragons' bones. Carrying the strength of their ancestors, they returned to the new world and encountered the more advanced beings created by the titans, known as humans. They formed a close bond with them, gradually reclaiming the world's heights and becoming rulers of its seven most vital domains, bringing all kinds of elemental powers back to the world. Then they fell into a long slumber. With their blessing, the dragonkind born from Chaos befriended the humans of that era, heralding the coming age of humans and dragons. The Age of Chaos The world was divided among powerful races such as the dragons and phoenixes, who fought among themselves. That battle was devastating. Many races were wiped out, and only the mightiest managed to preserve their descendants. The newly established human race lost many lives in the conflict, but it was not wiped out. Instead, it gradually grew stronger. Many human ancestors left behind all kinds of combat techniques for their descendants to study and use. The Age of the Elves As humanity gradually grew stronger, the elves, the first race created by the titans, had already become immensely powerful. Humans called them messengers of nature. They excelled at wielding nature's laws and powers, as well as all kinds of elemental energy. Yet even this powerful race began to fracture from within. The elves divided into several groups and scattered across the world, putting down roots in different places and being transformed by the local elements into other kinds of elves. Only one group remained, locked in a struggle against the rebellious dark elves. The Age of Ascendance Humans gradually mastered the use of different elemental powers, as well as spells and other abilities. Guided by the secret manuals the elves had left behind, they gradually branched into several professions: mages, knights, summoners, priests, assassins, and more. The Dark Age In the other half of the original world, the Dark Realm, ancient ferocious beasts and powerful magical beasts gradually grew stronger. They waged a constant war against the original world, seeking to devour it. Humanity suffered heavy losses in this conflict, and most of its territory was seized by the demons and beasts of the Dark Realm. To ensure the humiliation would never be forgotten, people named this period the Dark Age. Theme: I'm a new author, so please be kind. Feel free to share your thoughts; I'll listen.
