The “crown prince” Yin Linchen is forced to put on a woman's wedding dress, climb into a bridal sedan, and go to the neighboring Song Kingdom to “marry” its third prince, Song Yao. Inside the sedan...
“Don't move.” Song Yao grabs Yin Linchen by the shoulder and makes him sit still. Then he takes a black bottle from his pocket, pours out a black pill, pinches Yin Linchen's mouth open, and shoves it inside.
“You... you...” Yin Linchen struggles desperately, unable to get a complete sentence out.
“Swallow it,” Song Yao orders. Seeing how humiliated Yin Linchen looks, he softens his voice. “You've been poisoned. This medicine will keep the poison from spreading through your body for five hours. Be good. Let's take care of what needs doing first, then I'll examine you carefully and help you get rid of the poison. The people outside are waiting, aren't they?”
