The next day, a building that had never existed before appeared in the heart of the city. Strange roads, buildings, and memories began seeping into reality. Stranger still, Lin Yao’s tarot shop, less than forty square meters in size, and the laboratory of Chen Ye, a young researcher, appeared in the very same place.
Some people remembered a building that had stood there for twenty years, while others were certain it had been an empty lot just yesterday. Some people had two entirely different pasts. And this overlapping world even began creating things that had existed in neither world before.
The seventy-ninth tarot card in Lin Yao’s hand was the first of them.
As the two worlds drew closer, Lin Yao and Chen Ye gradually realized that their meeting might be just like that card: something that should never have happened.
But if one day the two worlds have to separate again, where will the people, memories, and love that exist only in the overlap go?
