The sickly Shen Qingyue has spent much of her life in the hospital for as long as she can remember.
One day, she comes across an ABO romance novel between women. Feeling sorry for the villain O, she is chosen by a wish-granting System, which offers to grant her wish to enter the novel and become one of its characters.
Shen Qingyue thinks of her parents, who have never cared about her, and the cold walls of her hospital room.
In the end, all she can think of is the villain's tearful eyes and the last choked words she speaks.
Shen Qingyue decides she can give it a try, then come back and continue her life, which is already nearing its end.
After entering the novel, she becomes the female lead A's cousin, just back from studying abroad.
She's a character who was never mentioned in the original story. The System added her.
Being a sickly cousin A has plenty of downsides.
In this role, she has a reputation for being promiscuous and has flirted with plenty of O's.
Though she has only broken people's hearts, Shen Qingyue finds that being the kind of cheater who keeps herself chaste makes things even more troublesome.
A person's heart is the most important thing.
But there are plenty of advantages to being sickly too. She can use her status to “do whatever she wants.”
For example, as soon as Shen Qingyue arrives, she says something completely out of line to the beautiful villain O.
At the time, she props up her chin, her eyes and pale pink lips curving into a smile. Her voice is soft as she smiles at the person before her. “Don't like her anymore. Like me instead, okay?”
As it turns out... she has another identity too. She's the villain O's wife of two months, married in secret.

Talk about awkward. Who could have seen that coming?
Even though things often feel a little off during the rescue, she at least manages to make the villain O happy.
Seeing the villain O's ending gradually turn for the better, Shen Qingyue feels she can wrap things up and leave. The time she agreed on with the System to return has also arrived.
But the villain O has no intention of letting her go.
Most importantly, the villain O has been able to hear her thoughts all along?!
Overcome with embarrassment, Shen Qingyue immediately wants to leave.
But then
“You should hate me.” After a long silence, Shen Qingyue stares into the other woman's bloodshot, tear-filled eyes.
“Yes, I should hate you. If that's what you want.” Cheng Xi strokes her pale lips, then carefully leans in to kiss her. “I'll hate you forever.”
“...” Shen Qingyue looks at the luxurious, soft chains binding her hands and feet, unsure what to say.
