After landing in a parallel world of The Prince of Tennis, I discover that my favorite character is my deskmate.
Stay calm. I’m perfectly calm.
I won’t get butterflies just because Marui Bunta sits next to me. I won’t get distracted by the way he chews gum in class, and I definitely won’t spend three days thinking about the dorayaki he casually left on my desk.
I just tucked the wrapper into my textbook. That’s all.
That’s perfectly normal. Anyone would do that. Right?
“Momo, you’ve been staring at that dorayaki wrapper for five minutes.”
“I’m studying the packaging design.”
“It’s just got a raccoon drawn on it!”
“...Raccoons are a kind of design, too.”

I used to think knowing everything that would happen to someone was a good thing. Later, I realized it was actually cruel.
When he wins a match, he tosses candy onto my desk. When he loses, he says nothing. He often trains with twenty kilos strapped to his wrist, yet after class he kicks back and snacks as if nothing’s wrong.
The truth is, I don’t know him at all.

“I actually came here for someone. No one knows.”
A cliched love story
Please note:
1. Told in first person, so the story may feel a little meandering.
2. There will definitely be some out-of-character moments... I’m writing while looking things up, and this is purely a labor of love. It’s my first time writing, so please don’t scold me if it’s not good TT If anything differs from canon, it’s my own headcanon!! There are some details I couldn’t find anywhere orz
3. I probably won’t get to U-17. I haven’t watched that part yet, and match results will follow the manga.
4. My writing is very amateurish! I like short dialogue! There’s a lot of inner monologue. Ah... anyway, my writing is really bad! If that’s not your thing, don’t read!! Please don’t force yourself to keep reading if you don’t like it. It’s free, so please don’t leave comments criticizing my writing >_< I’m sensitive, you know.
