At first, the Justice League paid no attention to the oddly dressed man with a huge treasure chest on his head.
That changed after Batman had a dream: a giant fog gate appeared in Gotham, a nun stood in the middle of a snowy wasteland with a scythe in her hands, and a giant behind her slowly opened its crimson eyes. The blind giant drew his bow and pierced the black dragon in the sky with an arrow. A knight who wandered the abyss stood beside a giant wolf.
The next day, Batman woke to find that all his old injuries had healed, and a broken sword had appeared in his hand.

Before you stands a hunter who slays the Old Gods, the Elden Lord, Ashen One, Lord of Cinder, Bringer of Despair, and Nightfarer!
Make me angry, and I’ll throw you into the disease-ridden village amusement park of an old Mr. Miyazaki, complete with relics that increase your death, poison, scarlet rot, and frostbite gauges whenever you take damage, and keep increasing those gauges while your health keeps draining if you aren’t at full health!
After clearing six Souls games in total and completing more than a dozen endings, the Ashen One finally escaped a world on the brink of death.
As Elden Lord and Lord of Cinder… they needed to find a new home for those close to them.
But things didn’t go as smoothly as they’d hoped. A little accident occurred while crossing worlds.
Now the Ashen One has three more goals:
1. Find their friends who got lost.
2. Find a piece of land to settle on and get along with the superheroes of this world.
3. Make sure to throw only villains into Miyazaki’s amusement park, and check every day to see whether any new superheroes have wandered into their dreams.
I’m just an innocent Undead.
So says the Ashen One.
Reader’s guide: 1. The protagonist has no gender and isn’t even human. They can be male or female, and their pronouns and gender may change at any time.
2. The main setting is DC. There may be plenty of characters from obscure American and British TV shows, movies, and even other games, but they’re only Easter eggs.
3. This isn’t a power fantasy focused solely on the protagonist. The superheroes won’t be props to make the protagonist look good. There may be plenty of plots involving superheroes entering dreams, interacting with NPCs, and using dreams to deal with villains. The story goes wherever the author feels like taking it.
4. There may be canon romantic pairings from Souls games or between other characters, but the protagonist has no romantic pairing. Any affectionate titles are just jokes, and there’s no actual romance with characters like the Fire Keeper.
5. I’ll do my best to make this understandable even to readers unfamiliar with Souls games. Please don’t post hostile comments or start arguments.
6. The timeline is a mystery, so all sorts of mistakes may appear.
7. If there’s anything you can’t accept, please leave on your own. Let’s get along. Thank you!
