Letters from the Tide
The tide overflowed the shore and picked up the scattered letters.
Hidden here are several human stories, both sweet and regretful, sealed by the sea breeze.
The wind on the seaside always arrives before the sound of the tide, taking a detour for those words that cannot be spoken.
In this small seaside town, I picked up many letters - some were written on notes on the back of soda cans, some were hidden in the interlayer of birthday gifts, and some were washed up and swallowed back by the waves again and again.
Each letter is from a young man. Some people write their confessions into the wind, while others suppress their thoughts into the bottom of the tide. They met, missed, reunited and separated again, like the ebb and flow of the tide, pushing the story ashore over and over again.
I collected them into this book and named it "Collected Letters from the Tide".
If you have ever waited for someone at the beach, then maybe a letter here is addressed to you.
Tides come and go, encounters and separations occur. This book collects the scattered thoughts of young people and witnesses those short but real heartbeats and regrets.
Purpose: to record the short and true heartbeats of young people. Regret is also a part of youth.
