Suoqiu Garden is located in the southwest corner of Da P. Its name comes from the song "Happy Meeting" written by Li Yu, the later master of the Southern Tang Dynasty. According to a professor in the history department, Suoqiu Garden was completed in the Ming Dynasty. It was built by a relative of the prince to please his concubine. The yard was abandoned in the late Qing Dynasty.
Now there are only a few independent courtyards left here. Occasionally, crows and magpies stand alternately on the sycamore branch in front of the main courtyard and cry. Things have changed and people have changed...
