Shen Yu, a young man from out of town, traveled to the Miao border in the mountains and accidentally triggered the mysterious local customs in Shiban Lane. Cen Ye expressed his feelings by stepping on the toes of his shoes. Shen went beyond the unknown custom and stepped back in anger.
The two exchanged tokens under a misunderstanding, and Shen Yu regarded the Miao boy's confession as an apology and reconciliation. As the reed pipe plays, the mountain's heart is quietly conveyed, but the guests from afar know nothing about it.
Purpose: To draw on the misunderstandings caused by the special folk customs of the Miao border, to write about the clumsy and restrained love of young people in the mountains, to show the emotional dislocation caused by regional cultural differences, and to explore the understanding and barriers between people growing up in different environments.
