During the Dajiang period, emphasis was placed on literature but not on military affairs. The Daming Mansion hung high in the capital, like a hand hanging down, its fingers slightly spread, unable to hold anything, but making people dare not raise their heads.
Some people knelt under the hand, and some turned away. Someone opened a well door underground, and there was a Fuyi Pavilion inside the door. Those who came did not ask about the past, and those who left left no trace. Someone was guarding Yunfei Village, guarding a dragon-beating whip, and guarding a battle that had already been fought, waiting until the pine branches outside the window fell to the ground. Someone pushed open a door from the end of the waterway, and there was no medicine shop floating in the smoke and water, only appearing for those who were destined.
Someone was feeding horses under the eaves of a dilapidated house, speaking sentences that no one could finish. Some people stood far away and did not come near. Some people carry someone else's sword and go through life. Someone flashed past the alley, dressed in white, and disappeared into the night.
Someone was sitting on Suiyun Mountain, playing chess with another person. The wind and snow outside the mountain cannot fall in front of them. There is a sword waiting for someone at the foot of the mountain. It has been waiting for a long time.
These people may not know each other, but they have reached the same place on their own journeys. Using the Ten Swords as their names, they traveled through thousands of mountains and rivers, and what they wanted in the end was just a heart that was no longer hanging. There is a temple hidden deep in the bamboo forest. There is no plaque and the abbot always sits at the same table. Someone went in once, and then again. The bamboo leaves fall, making the same noise as before.
