Ainur was born in a remote village in Xinjiang.
She has lived among the vast Gobi, grasslands and snow-capped mountains since she was a child, but has never really seen the sea. She only had vague and distant imagination about the world she had never reached.
Not long after he reached adulthood, a university graduate from Qingdao came to Xinjiang to teach.
One comes from the seaside, the other grew up inland; one is accustomed to far away places, and the other has never really left his hometown. Two people who would never have met in the first place met and got to know each other over the long years in Xinjiang, and in the simplest youth they had a relationship with an ending that no one could have predicted.
At the same time, Ainur's childhood friend's family left for Europe due to life changes. Familiar people left their hometown one by one. For the first time, the world was no longer just a few names on the map.
For the first time, I learned that there is such a big world on the other side of the sea.
Later, Ainur finally left Xinjiang.
She went to Shanghai and walked into a strange city and a completely different life; she began to work, travel, and move to different countries and cities. She saw the real sea and the distance that once only existed in her imagination.
Her life is becoming more and more vast, and the person who first introduced her to the world has gradually become a figure deep in her memory.
From Xinjiang to Qingdao, from Shanghai to all over the world.
She goes further and further away.
It wasn't until one day when she stood on the other side of the world and looked back at the years she had gone through that she suddenly understood...
