Yu Zhilin x Li Leming
Yu Zhilin fished a man out of the river.
The man was soaked to the skin, his arms were covered with old and new bruises, and he said "thank you" in a hoarse voice.
Yu Zhilin himself wasn't much better. He has a home where countless dishes have been broken, and he has a "little bastard" that sticks in his ears and cannot be pulled out.
Two teenagers who had been run over by their families but not completely broken sat side by side on the river bank all night. One said "life is boring" and the other said "I hope you will be happy next time we meet".
Later they met again at school.
Under the broken lamp in the corner of the cafeteria, by the river on Saturday afternoon, under the big sycamore tree in the physical education class. Li Leming changed from "Don't talk to anyone" to "You can tell me anything you encounter", and Yu Zhilin changed from "Close the door and pretend not to hear" to "Don't go back at night, I have more than you in my house."
This is a story about how two people get closer. There wasn't much of a storm, it was just two teenage boys who happened to meet each other when life was crushing them.
The wind is still blowing and the leaves are still falling. Summer is still very long.
