Pei Ye came down with a strange illness. She was starving every day, but the hospital couldn’t find anything wrong with her.
As she grew thinner by the day, she was either eating or on her way to get something to eat, and her wallet simply couldn’t keep up.
Just as Pei Ye was planning to become a food streamer to support herself, her legs turned into a fish tail.
Black and white, crescent-shaped, short and stubby, and kind of goofy.
“…”
Pei Ye decided to go back to her hometown. To her surprise, a glowing door was hidden beneath the pond behind her house. Beyond it lay an entire magic sea, with more food than she could ever finish.
Crayfish as tall as a person, crabs the size of cars… and giant fish with eight heads, every one of them ferocious.
Luckily, Pei Ye could fight. She ate all the meat and buried the scraps in the ground. The dead peach tree blossomed overnight. She fed the scraps to the chickens and ducks, which laid eggs like crazy: five a day, all double-yolked.
Later, Pei Ye grew bigger and bigger and never had to worry about going hungry again. The impoverished village also became famous, with every household building itself a nice, modern home.
P.S. 1. She is not an orca. Cloud whales are a fantasy species of my own creation. When young, they resemble local creatures in appearance and behavior as a means of self-defense.
2. A farming and village-building story. The women run the village, and the residents are all related or connected by marriage. They are exceptionally united and pull together, each with their own little schemes, but there are no truly awful villains.
Theme: Unity and hard work lead to prosperity
Why is it so cheap? It's so cheap that I don't want to see it anymore.
Never sell good things cheaply. I read some farming novels and spiritual things, which can be sold for tens of dollars per pound, and can be made in large quantities and mass-produced. I was really speechless.
[Love eyes] I like it very much. I like it very much.
