In the fifteenth year of Zhenguan, Princess Wencheng entered Tibet.
Before leaving, she asked Taizong for someone - the orphan of a frontier army scout, who was thirteen years old and was working as a servant in the Western Market.
That person later lost his name and origin, and had a scar on the left side of his face from the brow bone to the cheekbone.
The princess called her Tsopa. In Tibetan, "Ba" means people.
In the year when Songtsen Gampo died, Tsopa made that scar. The princess burned a book of books.
Neither of them mentioned Chang'an again.
The princess stayed in Tubo for forty years. Tsopa followed for forty years.
The princess died in the back hall of Ramoche Temple. Tsopa died on the edge of the same couch seven days later.
History books say that when the princess died, "there was only one old attendant by her side", whose name was unknown.
There are two tombs, one with a monument and one without. There were six and a half steps in between.
