Ling Ran grew up in his original family. His mother died young and his father was an alcoholic. He would be beaten if he was not careful since he was a child. However, Gu Mo lived a happy life and his parents were healthy and were very good to him since he was a child. They met for some reasons when they were young. They transferred to the same class in high school and became neighbors. They met later and took Ling Ran out of the painful original family to give him warmth.
