A huge work covering literature, history, philosophy and politics;
A young legend that has been tempered by time and turbulent years;
A magnificent and epic epic of the times;
A sigh of the soul that is full of emotions and cannot be expressed in words.
This book is adapted from a true story, telling the life legend of a boy named Xiwen during the special period of the Republic, and the story of the true brotherhood between Shaojun, the son of his adoptive parents. The two protagonists in the story now live peacefully in a foreign country.
Background of the story: The early stage (childhood chapter) begins with the rise of the student movement, and ends with the student movement being replaced by the movement of educated youths going to the mountains and countryside. It describes Xiwen's bumpy life and the complicated relationship between him and Shaojun during these two and a half years; the later stage (younger chapter) uses the American social landscape from 1973 to 1976 and the social landscape of China at the end of this stage as the background to describe the years and affairs between Xiwen and Shaojun when they grow up.
Intention: The past cannot be looked back on
