The Skeleton Realm is a world floating in endless void. It is composed of the corpses of countless ancient behemoths. These giant beasts are called "ancestral species" and are the oldest creatures in the void. Their ribs span thousands of miles, and their eye sockets can accommodate a city. After the death of the ancestor species, the corpse floated in the void, gradually being eroded by a substance called "bone-eroding fog", and finally solidified into land for human survival.
There is no sun and no real moon in the Skeleton Realm. There are two types of light sources in the sky: one is the "bone moon", which is a huge gray-white halo formed by the remnants of the pupil of the ancestor behemoth, which becomes lighter during the day and turns silvery white at night; the other is the "phosphorus fire cloud", which is formed by the energy of bones seeping from the ground and burning in the sky. It is dark red and appears every day at dawn and dissipates at dusk.
Under the earth of the Skeleton Realm are countless layers of giant beast skeletons. The further down you go, the older and larger the bones become. In the deepest part lies the complete remains of the ancestral behemoth "Huang", whose heart is the "original core".
