Straightforward and gentle Ren Shu (suffer)/Naughty and paranoid Ren Shuozhi (attack)
"Little Switzerland, I will accompany you"
Ren Shuozhi suffered from kidney disease when he was young and was in urgent need of a kidney. Chen Xiaoshu's biological mother adopted the four-year-old child as a condition of kidney donation. Chen Xiaoshu changed his name to Ren Shu, forgetting his life experience, and grew up with Ren Shuozhi as brothers. His parents went abroad to work and took away the frail Ren Shu, leaving Ren Shuozhi alone in his hometown. Long-term loneliness breeds estrangement and resentment, which becomes a hidden disease in the relationship between the two.
His parents died in a car accident on their way back to China. Ren Shu, who was in a coma, was left to be raised by Ren Shuozhi. Three years later, Ren Shu woke up from amnesia, knowing nothing and living in the shackles of guilt. Ren Shuozhi was trapped by his past obsessions, deliberately instilling feelings of debt, and fostering extreme thoughts of revenge. In the end, he was unable to cruelly hurt his only relative.
The truth was unexpectedly revealed, Ren Shu's memory recovered, and he decided to leave after seeing all the deception and harm. Ren Shuozhi read through the suicide note and learned all the cause and effect, and he completely woke up. He searched hard for a year to atone for his sins and pursue his husband. The two completely broke through all the knots in their hearts and reconciled their pasts. Finally, they put aside the shackles of the world and went to Switzerland to spend the rest of their lives together.
