Ge Ya was born into another world and spent eighteen ordinary years there, nearly giving up on ever returning to her original world.
Then one day, she unexpectedly awakened an ability, and gods, demons, and ability users all flooded into her life.
The gods offered her a deal: if Ge Ya joined a party to defeat the demons and wiped them out, they would send her home. Unable to resist the temptation, Ge Ya agreed.
She had three companions: a demigod, a god's adopted son, and a sage blessed by the gods.
They traveled together and shared many adventures. After their quest to destroy the demons left them battered and bruised, the gods descended in force and told them the demon-slaying mission had all been a deception.
The god looked coldly at the three fallen companions, then whispered in Ge Ya's ear, “Kill them, and I'll send you home.”
Ge Ya drove her blade into the god.
“I can't kill them. Their bones would hurt my hands.”
“I won't kill them. Their flesh and blood would block my way home.”
“I don't dare kill them. I'm afraid nightmares would haunt me, leaving me with nothing but regret for the rest of my life.”
The god whispered. She didn't listen to a word.

When Soler compliments people, he does it with the utmost sincerity:
“Your eyesight is about as sharp as a patrol dog's nose.”
“You dance beautifully, like a flower branch being battered by wind and rain.”
“The laugh lines at the corners of your eyes are as lovely as the folds on a bun.”
“...”
Ge Ya humbly asked for advice: “Who taught you to compliment people like that?”
A beautiful woman held a blade to Felis's throat. Felis stood still, looking apologetic. “Sorry, I've been captured. I can't help you.”
Chased all over the place, Ge Ya screamed in despair, “You look pretty captivated to me, you bastard!”
As the first-generation sage, Pabilant possessed tremendous magical power and an otherworldly air. When asked about his hobbies, Pabilant smiled mysteriously and showed off his prized possession.
“What is this?”
He swung a straight wooden stick through the air, making it whistle. Pabilant gazed into the distance. “Who doesn't dream of being a hero?”
Ge Ya was more confused than ever. “What did the God King who granted you eternal life see in you?”
