In the modern city of Hecheng, where the boundaries between yin and yang are mottled and falling off, relic organizer Shen Yan wanders in the gray area, specializing in "removing attachments" for people. He is hired by ghosts or living people to quell paranormal incidents by finding, repairing or destroying "anchors" that carry life obsessions.
