Yuta Obara moved to Asakusa from Nakanoshima. New streets, new roofs, and a new life seem to be unfolding. He successively met his neighbor Nagu who was always full of energy, his deskmate Honda who had an alienated and mysterious temperament, and Zeng Liang, the catcher of the school baseball team. Nagu dragged him to get familiar with the streets and took him to watch exciting baseball games; the group went on a study trip to Akita in the North; on summer nights, he also looked up at the gorgeous fireworks in the sky by the Sumida River...
Time pushes everyone forward, and lively clips pass by frame by frame. But Xiao Yuan felt like he was watching all this through a layer of transparent glass. The hustle and bustle is theirs, and so is the freshness. His footsteps fell on the land of Asakusa, but part of his soul was still stuck in the old days of Nakanoshima, quietly entangled by a past that no one knew about, and could not break away.
His growth is inseparable from a certain unsolved knot in his heart. That may be something that will remain difficult to understand until someday in the future.
