When Shen Shu was thirteen, his parents died. He met Shen Chun in the orphanage who was bullied by everyone. They depended on each other, ran out of the darkness, changed their names, fled to a strange city and started over.
When Shen Chun went to the fly shop to serve dishes, Shen Shu picked up scraps and saved money to buy gifts without telling her. They live in the shabbiest house, but Shen Chun can always live a colorful life.
One night when he was sixteen years old, Chen Shu had a nosebleed while looking at Chen Chun's back under the shower of flowers. That kind of throbbing with rapid heartbeat has long been more than just the dependence of a younger sister on her elder sister.
But she didn't dare to say it. Afraid that Shen Chun would feel "abnormal" and afraid of losing her, he could only swallow his love for five years. Until she finally broke out, slammed the door and left Spring City, crying on the train and sending a message saying "I won't like you anymore."
She didn't know that when she left, she would say goodbye forever.
Later, Shen Shu opened a coffee shop called "Spring and Tree", facing the sea. She placed Shen Chun's urn by the window, opened the last page of her diary and wrote:
My name is Shen Shu.
My lover's name is Chen Chun.
Chen Shu will always love Chen Chun, life after life.
Not every farewell is followed by a reunion, but if you love someone, you can love them for a whole life.
