Nine-year-old Xia Zhi is troubled by dissociative amnesia, and her memories are like scattered fragments. An unanswerable question swirled in her mind: Why hasn't mom come home yet?
One evening after school, she came across a mysterious time store on the road. Xia Zhi knocked on the store door out of curiosity and was greeted by an old man with gray hair. In the store, the pointer of the time machine rotates quietly. An accident plunges her into an unknown future.
"Time pointer, can you go back to the past?"
"Okay. But why do you want to go back to the past?"
"I want to see my mother, I want her to go home." Tears welled up in Xia Zhi's eyes.
