The world was born out of a primordial sea.
Under the sea water is lava, and above the lava is chaos. In the chaos, the first molecular chain that can replicate itself was born.
This is not divine revelation, this is the self-organization of matter. No will, no purpose, just a tiny deviation of the second law of thermodynamics under certain boundary conditions.
1.3 Billion years.
1.3 Billion years of evolution, differentiation, competition, extinction, rise, fall, and repetition.
The setting of the first era, the wars of the second era, the blood and fire of the third era, the slavery of the fourth era, the liberation of the fifth era, the liquidation of the sixth era, the construction of the seventh era, the fission of the eighth era, the growth of the ninth era, the grudges of the tenth era, the collapse of the eleventh era, the order of the twelfth era, the rifts of the thirteenth era, and the end of the fourteenth era.
Then there's the New World, but that's another story.
What does that have to do with the protagonist? She's just an "average" player.
Concept: The world is material, history is written by the people, and women are part of the people.
